MAJOR ACCIDENTS PREVENTION POLICY

This policy reflects the actions taken to prevent major accidents and irreparable consequences, to proactively eliminate, reduce and control all risks that may arise for this purpose, provided that it is one of the main principles that form the basis of POTAS Akdeniz Akaryakıt Dağıtım A.Ş. (POTAS) operations and management systems.

Potas Akdeniz Akaryakıt Dağıtım A.Ş;

recognizes that the risks that may arise during the operation of flammable and explosive fuel oil and all related hazardous materials, which is one of our main processes, are of vital importance and
is aware of the serious consequences of major accidents that may occur during fuel operations on the environment, life, social life, community psychology and economy.

POTAS recognizes that in terms of local legislation and international regulations, is obliged to reduce the risks of major accidents in company operations to an acceptable level. In order to reduce the risks to this level, it undertakes to implement the 'zero accident' policy regardless of the costs of the work it has done and will do in order to reduce the risks.

This policy has been determined by taking in consideration of POTAS company objectives in order to create a viable, consistent and sustainable corporate culture in line with the POTAS Integrated Management Systems Policy and the POTAS Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) Policy.

Potential hazards of all processes related to our activities have been identified.
The consequences of these hazards have been analyzed.
Hazard control systems have been identified and implemented.
Necessary trainings have been provided to ensure that control systems are applicable and sustainable within the framework of process safety.
All our procedures and plans are designed to ensure that awareness of major accidents and their impact on people and the environment is kept alive among all our employees and stakeholders.

POTAS develops strategies in an interactive manner with all its units for the continuous improvement of the performance of the Major Accident Prevention Policy, Integrated Management Systems Policy and Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) Policies and all processes based on them, and continues its activities to cover the entire organization through internal and external audits and review meetings in order to achieve the company's goals and to maintain the same high level at all times.

Defines the responsibilities and required competencies of all employees, especially technical and operation units within the framework of Process Safety, and requires the same culture to be applied to all partners involved in the operation processes.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

Safety is our primary priority in all of our operations. We aim to ensure the highest level of safety in all our aviation operations by adhering to national and international legal regulations and standards; to develop, implement and improve the necessary strategies and processes, and we are committed to the following principles;
